Tuner Mopar: Way Too Cool To Be A Storage Locker

By Jen Dunnaway

You might remember MUD-DUBS, the tricked-out Tacoma with the lambo doors and the unconventional wheel-tire package. As it turns out, owner Chris has more than one unique ride: he also owns this '88 Chrysler Conquest. Though he doesn't come right out and say it, it sounds as though he might've let the motor blow up when he was a kid ("I was young and stupid"), and now this interesting ride is "sitting in my driveway being used as a storage facility." Don't let it rot, Chris! There's so much you could do with a rear-drive, turbocharged little whip like this—so get going on that engine swap already!

hey bill, you got a page for that Shelby Z? I love Shelbys. Feel free to check out my '92 Spirit R/T. I'm sure you know that the R/Ts came with the rare TIII.

Conquest is Cool Looking Car, that needs some attention to be brought back to former glory. Conquest is a car that you don't see
everyday. the 2.6 Turbo engine was an interesting concept, even
the newer smaller 80's Challenger came with 2.6 engine and was
a Cool Rear wheel drive car too, wonder how they would work out as
a drifter car ?
I've just finished a 87 Daytona Shelby Z W/Turbo II w/55 Getrag
that is another Mopar that you don't see everyday also , but
the Car and the 2.2 engine were made in America unlike the 2.6
engine and the 2.2 Turbo II has more bang for the buck when
you compare it to the 2.6 Turbo , I do like the Conquest Looks.
the 2.6 was used in many Chrysler Vans and Dodge Raiders in 80's
think they made a 2.6 turbo raider too, but not 100% sure
Hope to see future pic's of your Restoration , Good Luck !
